Who is sponsoring this?

Who will be leading the discussions?

The elders at the McLish Avenue Church of Christ asked Brant Stubblefield and me to speak on this important subject.

There will be a Q&A after the nightly lessons.

Grammatical error: "B.S. and I" not "B. S. and me".

Actually, not a grammatical error, since "B.S. and me" is the object of the sentence, and not the subject. "The elders at the McLish Ave Church of Christ asked ...me to speak"

Grammatical error - maybe, maybe not but take heed to the message below. By the way, my grammatical checker said "me" and not"I". Grammer changes almost as fast as computer parts.

The following quote was found on the inside cover of a magazine:

“Doctors’ mistakes are buried, lawyers’ mistakes are imprisoned, accountants’ mistakes are fined, dentists’ mistakes are pulled, pharmacists’ mistakes get sick, electricians’ mistakes are shocking, and carpenters’ mistakes are sawdust. But just in case you find any mistakes in this magazine, please remember they were put there for a purpose. We try to offer something for everyone. Some people are always looking for mistakes and we don’t want to disappoint them.”

In jest, not rebuke...

Error: Grammar nor "grammer"

My point exactly! Even our spelling changes over time: honour to honor.

Thanks for the help.

We attended the meeting at Mclish Ave this week. We are members at Maxwell Ave in Ardmore and have really enjoyed the preaching. It reminds me of how preaching used to be when I was a boy. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the encouraging words. See you Thursday - Saturday.

WOW !!! Powerful preaching! Although it was hard for me to believe that childrens church was wrong I am studying it more to decide for myself. Can you write an article on it on this website? Brant was making his points so fast I didnt get all the references down. You guys really make me want to study.

Rick & Brant have done a fine job each night preaching the gospel here at McLish Avenue. There lessons have been right out of God's Book. In a time when many people get offended at plain preaching may we be reminded that "the common people heard Jesus gladly" (Mk. 12:37). Their efforts in answering questions each night have been very profitable. Many from the community and area congregations have been made to think about biblical issues that they might have otherwise overlooked. On behalf of the McLish Avenue congregation we just want to say "Thank You." May God be glorified and the borders of the kingdom continue to be broadened through efforts like these!

Great news - because of the overwhelming response the elders of the McLish Avenue Church of Christ have extended the meeting until Friday, May 4th

We have had four baptisms and three restorations. Our studies thus far have added 6 new studies to the list. There have been at least 13 area churches represented each night. Denominational preachers, members have attended along with great crowds each night of the meeting.

We will be knocking doors again Saturday, April 28th. May God be glorified.

As of Wednesday afternoon the Lord has added 10 souls to His kingdom and 8 have been restored unto the Lord. I wish I could tell you the stories - that may come later.

How did you baptize ten people in one meeting?

The final tally for the meeting in Ardmore is 12 baptisms and 11 restorations. There will be more to come.

As to how this was accomplished:

First, it took a good old fashion work ethic. We knocked door for three day and set up 180 potential Bible studies (120 call backs and 60 Bible studies). One Bible study resulted in 3 baptisms.

Second, good old fashion preaching, thus trusting God to give the increase when we do the work that He gave us to do. Pray for these fellow workers and your new brothers and sisters in Christ.
