Vending Machine Abortions

Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania is now selling the "morning-after" pill via a vending machine... For $25, people with access to campus health services at Shippensburg can buy Plan B from a machine, just like they would a soda or a bag of chips.

Well, let's see..
  • Because college kids will drink, we need to lower the drinking age!
  • Because college kids will engage in sexual misbehavior, we need to supply them with condemns.
  • Because some college kids don't/won't use condemns or because those condemns are not 100% reliable we need to supply them with easy access to the death pill.

Why is it that our colleges and universities must always appeal to the lowest common denominator in ethics. It would seem, ethically, that they have become places of "lower" rather than "higher" education.

No need to take Human Sexuality 101. They have a special one stop birth control machine. It sells condoms, pregnancy test and Plan B One-Step emergency contraceptives. Students at our colleges and universities deserve better than to have their administration represent the potent drug with life-ending potential as no more harmful than a Snickers bar.

"From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment" (Isa. 1:6).

Pink or Red?

There is, now, no doubt in my mind that the political arm of Planned Parenthood reaches long and hits hard. In the last post we praised the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation for its willingness to cut out the middle man in order to help streamline the funding for breast cancer. We noted in that article that Planned Parenthood seems to be more interested in who get the money than in the welfare of women and children.

The latest news is that the Komen foundation has been bulled back into the fold of Planned Parenthood. I do pity the Komen foundation who now must realize that they are not calling the shots in their own foundation. It is true that when you lie down with dogs you get up with flees.

A friend of mine recently sent me his appraisal of the situation:
As the former President George Bush said “make no distinction between terrorists and the nations that harbor them–and hold both to account” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_Doctrine). And what is abortion if not terrorism? It is the worst type of terrorism because it is launched against those who cannot defend themselves in any way form or fashion. So as our former President says we “make no distinction between terrorists and the nations (in our case organizations) that harbor them–and hold both to account.” It is time to hold Susan G. Komen accountable for the 4000 innocent people that it endorses murdering each and every day in this nation. We need a boycott against the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Planned Parenthood and Liberal Politicians are flexing their political muscles in an attempt to make the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization the bad guys for making a choice to fund Breast Cancer patients without funneling their money through Planned Parenthood.

To illustrate how far these thugs will go in their passion to continue the killings for convenience they hacked into the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organizational website and instead of going to www.komen.org people were directed to a bogas ww5.koman.org which changed the graphic on the front page that used to say such inspirational slogans as “Help us get 26.2 or 13.1 miles closer to a world without breast cancer,” the graphic now read “Help us run over poor women on our way to the bank.”

Women who were seeking counseling about breast cancer now were violated with the thuggery of those who support the Planned Parenthood abusive tactics. Evidently, these people care more about who gets the money than they do about the women's heath.

What's next for these thugs? Make no doubt about my friends, this is a battle about the life and death of the most innocent among us... but it has been and will continue to be fought in the green trenches of MONEY. How about putting your money where your mouth is... Governor Bloomberg did, announcing he would match up to $250,000 in donations to offset the expected funding cuts to Planned Parenthood.

You may not be able to match Governor Bloomberg's wallet, but now would be a good time to let the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization know that you too are willing to put your money where your mouth is in this battle for life and death of both mother's and babies.

A Conservation...

The following is a short but I think pertaintent conserviation that I had with a good friend and fellow gospel preacher, brother Roy Montgomery of the Estes Park Church of Christ in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I was privledged to co-preach with Brother Montgomery in at least three gospel meetings.

Frist, I sent brother Montgomery, as well as others the article entitled: "Turning the Tide" above. Here was his response...

I agree! Life is life and no person has the right to determine who has the right to life. God is the giver of life! I cannot forget that one of my nephews weighed less that two pounds at birth. Yes, he had some challenges at the beginning, but now he is a normal healthy seven year old. Under the current mindset he would have been terminated prior to birth, but that option was never on the table.

The thing that "sickens" me is that career politicians make this a "hot button" issue during their election campaign and then table it until the next election. Babies are being aborted 24/7 365 days a year. Politicians have the power to stop it, but there is too much political clout attached to the "pro-life" position to really write legislation to put an end to abortions.

When the final trumpet sounds and time shall be no more... someone will be accountable for every soul that was deprived the right to live.

My response...
You are absolutely correct and its high time that Christian's not only realized this but held these politicians feet to the proverbial fire on this issue. We can and should demand this before the 40th Anniversary of Roe vs Wade (January 22, 2013)!

General Norman Schwarzkopf wrote down this statement one week before the First Persian Gulf War... "War is the remedy that our enemies have chosen, and I say let us give them all they want."

It's TIME!

Brother Montgomery's response... AMEN!

My love to brother Montgomery. Spend some time today encouraging a brother or sister in Christ to Gird up; Stand up; Speak up; Bear up and Look up (Jer. 1:17-19).

The Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization is halting contributions to Planned Parenthood affiliates.

Next stop... Congress! Keep up the good work... Maybe we can rid ourselves of this moral atrocity before the 40th Anniversary (January 22, 2013).
