From Slaughterhouses to Sodas

Pepsi products should be banned from every country around the globe! They are using the kidneys of aborted babies to produce flavor enhancers for their drinking products. Don't forget what caused mad cow disease. Slaughter houses fed cattle the remains of dead cows mixed with their regular food. 'Nuff said.

An Open Door

While researching restoration history in Clay County, Missouri, I found some very interesting information in the records of the Liberty Christian Church, formerly the Church of Christ where Moses E. Lard preached between 1853 and 1857.

During the Civil War (sic), when Liberty was under the command of Federal Troops, an order had been issued by the commander that no public meetings of any nature were to be held in town. This included services of the church. Dr. W. A. Morton, a staunch southern sympathizer, was determined to keep the church doors open. The first Sunday morning the order was in effect, Dr. Morton came to the meeting house and opened the doors, preparing for the morning service, as usual. Word of this action spread rapidly through the town, reaching the ears of the commanding officer. The latter immediately sent an aide to the meeting house bearing orders that no services were to be held. The soldiers rode up to the church, found Dr. Morton, and said, “I have orders from the officer in charge of this community that there is to be no meeting here today.” Dr. Morton replied at once, “I thank you, sir, but I have orders from a higher officer than yours to have services, and we plan to obey His command.” The aide withdrew, and services were held, not only that Sunday, but every succeeding Sunday thereafter.

When word reached other members of the community that the church had met, they, too, decided to meet the next Sunday. This group was restrained from meeting, however, because the officer told them that, “If it was not worthwhile to have services last Sunday, it is not worthwhile to have services today.” The matter was closed, and the Liberty Church of Christ holds the distinction of being the only church to have services during the period of occupation by the Federal Troops.

If we were issued this same order today, would we close our doors as some of them did, or would we have the courage to stand for the truth as these brethren did and “obey God rather than man” (Acts 5:29)?

WE ARE AT WAR...

Has our society already reached the sinful state of Sodom and Gomorrah? The ungodly in our nation are attempting to get federal laws passed that would legalize immorality.

These include:

• GAY BILL OF SPECIAL RIGHTS which will create a super-class of sexual deviants, establish mandatory quotas of homosexuals employees for businesses, churches and even daycare centers, and make it impossible for anyone to ever fire a homosexual employee.

• HOMOSEXUAL CLASSROOMS ACT which will force every school to introduce homosexual curriculum designed to indoctrinate young, impressionable minds into sexual and social deviancy.

• OFFENSE OF MARRIAGE ACT which will repeal the Defense of Marriage Act and force every state in the Union to embrace homosexual “marriages” even states which have already voted to defend the sanctity of marriage as one man and one woman.

The Roe versus Wade decision by the Supreme Court in 1973 that legalized abortions has resulted in the murder of millions of unborn infants. It is now estimated that there have been well over 50 million unborn infants murdered.

You and I must abstain from the very appearance of evil. Not only that, but we must keep our self from becoming spotted of the sinful world.

• I Thess. 5:22, “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

• James 1:27, “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”

• I John 2:15-17, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.”

Upside-Down Law

As opposed to God, human beings often make laws that are either unnecessary or contradictory. In such cases it turns the legal system upside-down. This certainly is the case with our abortion laws (i.e., the "legal" killing of the most innocent among us).

For example, a mother goes to an abortion clinic (i.e., a slaughter house) and with "legal" consent has a doctor perform a "legal" murder on her unborn child. Just down the street, in the same town, the same doctor, pulls a knife and kills an unborn child without the consent of the mother. In the the first instance, the doctor receives money for his deed. While, in the second instance, the doctor receives first-degree murder charges for his deed: Same deed. The only real difference, and I stress the only real difference, in the two instances is that one child is wanted by the mother and the other is not! The legal system is upside-down!

This is how the "law" plays out in the News:
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Formal charges were filed Monday in the death of a Blanchard mother. Late Monday afternoon, Justin Adams was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, one for his wife, Jaymie Adams, and the other for her unborn child. (Sarah Stewart Reporting KFOR-TV, February 14, 2012).

Now, my question is a simple one: Why is Justin Adams being charged with two counts of first-degree murder? Here is the fundamental and only real reason from our "upside-down" legal system's perspective... Justin is not a doctor and did it without Jaymie's consent.
