Vending Machine Abortions

Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania is now selling the "morning-after" pill via a vending machine... For $25, people with access to campus health services at Shippensburg can buy Plan B from a machine, just like they would a soda or a bag of chips.

Well, let's see..
  • Because college kids will drink, we need to lower the drinking age!
  • Because college kids will engage in sexual misbehavior, we need to supply them with condemns.
  • Because some college kids don't/won't use condemns or because those condemns are not 100% reliable we need to supply them with easy access to the death pill.

Why is it that our colleges and universities must always appeal to the lowest common denominator in ethics. It would seem, ethically, that they have become places of "lower" rather than "higher" education.

No need to take Human Sexuality 101. They have a special one stop birth control machine. It sells condoms, pregnancy test and Plan B One-Step emergency contraceptives. Students at our colleges and universities deserve better than to have their administration represent the potent drug with life-ending potential as no more harmful than a Snickers bar.

"From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment" (Isa. 1:6).
